Your role: Project Manager

As a Project Manager at GTP, you’ll take the lead on your projects while benefiting from the guidance and expertise of our experienced Partners. We give you the autonomy to drive projects forward, with the resources and mentorship you need to succeed.

Typical tasks include:

• Leading your project from planning to execution.
• Engaging with clients and the GTP team to deliver high-impact results.
• Analyzing markets, competition, technologies, and supply chains to inform strategic decisions.
• Developing comprehensive outputs, such as SWOT analyses, business plans, strategies, processes, models, and action plans.
• Implementing: Plan, track, execute, and support the implementation of solutions.
• Delivering your results effectively through written reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.

What we’re looking for

We seek team players who are driven by a strong desire to make an impact and who bring a passion for excellence in everything they do. At GTP, everyone has the opportunity to play a substantial role in our growth and success.

Our ideal candidate has:

• An MBA/equivalent degree or Engineering degree from a top university.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tier 1 consultancy or Big 4 company, particularly in transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of problem-solving.
• Proven track record in managing projects.
• Proficiency in German (native level) and English (minimum B2 level).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Experience in working with technology (e.g. AI-based tools) boost efficiency and quality.
• At least one additional strong skill, such as Business plan modeling and valuation or Program Controlling/PMO
  
  

Specialization:

We’re looking for specialists who have or can develop expertise in one of the following areas relevant to GTP:

• Technologies: Battery storage, hydrogen, solar PV, offshore wind.
• Functional areas: Project development, asset management, asset/company transactions

Your ability to become a leading expert in these areas is more important than extensive experience today.
